// News / Brugbart is still Growing

The site is still aiming to teach the latest web-design practices, such as separating content from style, this is where i would like to say that the HTML and CSS References are both slowly growing, one of my later entries covered CSS Selectors, i even learned a few things while writing it.

Another entry was regarding Absolute and Relative paths, which turned out to be one of the better articles I've written. I bet a lot of people don't know about the root relative paths, i only just learned about them when i ran into some troubles with the normal relative paths, used together with mod rewrite.

The Current Problem

The challenge is to enable support for multiple languages, so that i don't have to update the danish and English site separately. Yet i still need to keep it as simple to maintain as possible, so i decided to slowly turn Brugbart into my own CMS, seams like the easiest solution.

Meanwhile

You can help Brugbart by telling people about the site, or by adding Brugbart to relevant Directories. Brugbart is also in dire need of incoming links, the competition on the search engines for the most relevant keywords is to big, and i suspect that Brugbarts low PageRank is the main reason why it doesn't show up when using those keywords.

Remember to use relevant words as the link title if you decide to add a link, an example would be Brugbarts CSS Reference, the search engines use the words found in the link title to determine keyword relevancy. Brugbart dose not have any banners you can use as of yet, plain text links actually perform better in most cases.

However you should try to link to the URL which is relevant to the words you use in the title of your link, you can also simply use the headline of the resource as the link title, i have tried to optimize these with potential search terms in mind.
