// References / Special characters for HTML

Certain characters have special meaning in HTML and needs to be excaped when used.

I.E. The Ampersand, less-than, and greater-than characters.

Usage

These character codes are used to excape the markup-significant characters, as well as internationalization characters.

C0 Controls and Basic Latin

& & Ampersand, U+0026 ISOnum.
< < less-than sign, U+003C ISOnum.
> > greater-than sign, U+003E ISOnum.

Latin Extended-A
